Go by weight, not breed. Big Dog suits anything from about 40 lbs upward — a taller basin and a wider drinking lip, so large breeds are not crouching to reach it. Small Dog suits anything under 40 lbs, plus puppies and seniors, with a lower profile and a gentler stream. Between the two, or a multi-dog home? Take Big Dog.

Both are 304 food-grade stainless steel with the same 3-stage carbon filtration and the same whisper pump. Pro adds UV-C sterilisation of the circulating water, a rechargeable battery backup that keeps the pump running for up to 12 hours without mains power, and a water-level window.

Three things. The basin is stainless steel rather than plastic, so it does not scratch and does not hold a bacterial film in those scratches. The pump is rated under 30 dB, quiet enough for a bedroom. And it carries a 5-year warranty instead of the usual twelve months — the pump is the part that fails on cheap units, usually around month four.

Most dogs investigate within a few hours because moving water is instinctively interesting to them. Cautious dogs can take three or four days. Place it where the old bowl was, leave the bowl beside it for two days, then take the bowl away. If your dog still refuses it, send it back inside 90 nights for a full refund.

Far less than a bowl. The whole unit lifts apart with no tools into four pieces. Rinse them, wipe the basin, put it back together — roughly 60 seconds, once a week. Steel does not scratch the way plastic does, so there is nowhere for a film to sit.

Unlikely. The basin is weighted steel and the included silicone mat grips both the floor and the base, so it does not slide on tile or hardwood. Enthusiastic dogs may splash a little in the first few days while they work out the stream; the mat catches it.

It runs from USB-C. The Pro model has a rechargeable battery backup that keeps the pump circulating for up to 12 hours if you unplug it or lose power — useful for camping, car travel and outages. Both models hold water perfectly well as a still bowl if the power is off for longer.

Every 4 to 6 weeks for one dog, closer to every 3 weeks in a busy multi-dog home or with hard water. Your order includes three filters, which covers roughly the first four months.

Yes. Refills ship every 28 days so they arrive before you run out, and you can pause or cancel at any time from your account or by emailing us. An unopened refill pack can be returned within 30 days for a full refund.

Water passes through three stages: a mesh screen catches hair and food debris, activated carbon pulls out chlorine taste and odours, and an ion-exchange layer softens the water and reduces scale. On the Pro model a UV-C lamp then treats the circulating water continuously.

The United States and Canada. Orders placed on a business day are packed and dispatched within 24 hours. Delivery is typically 3 to 6 business days in the United States and 5 to 9 business days to Canada, and every order ships tracked.

Rates are calculated at checkout based on your address, so you see the exact amount before you pay and nothing is added afterwards. Two-fountain orders ship free.

Yes. Everything travels together in one box — the fountain, the filters and all of the free gifts. Ordered two fountains? They come in the same parcel, not two separate deliveries.

Email us as soon as you can. If the parcel has not been collected we can correct the address or size, or cancel it outright and refund you in full. Once it has been handed to the carrier, treat it as a return when it arrives.

Yes. Payment is handled by our payment provider over an encrypted connection. We never see or store your card number.

Give your dog three full months with the fountain. If they will not drink from it, or it is not right for your home, email us inside 90 nights of delivery and we refund every cent. You keep the free gifts — filters, additive, travel bottle and mat do not need to come back.

We check returns the day they arrive. Once approved, your refund goes back to the original payment method within 5 to 7 business days, and your bank may take a few days more to display it.

You are covered for 5 years. Send us your order number and what the fountain is doing, and we ship a replacement pump module free — you do not return the whole unit and you do not pay shipping. If that does not fix it, we replace the entire fountain.
